Our Board of Directors is a working board who volunteer time and effort to support our mission to foster local and regional community engagement by showcasing queer film programming, educational experiences, and social dialogue with a focus on Virginia and Southern voices.
Our Board members are:
- Community leaders
- Film aficionados
- Arts supporters
- Strategic thinkers
- Effective public speakers
- Ambassadors for the Festival
Our Board members commit to:
- Chairing or serving on a board committee (finance, fundraising, marketing and communications, programming, education, governance and nominating)
- Attending monthly board meetings of one hour on the third Wednesday of each month (most meetings are via Zoom)
- Devoting volunteer time and effort during the annual Festival.
- Being present for film screenings and fundraising events during the course of the year.
- Attending our annual Board Retreat
- Contributing an annual minimum of $100 in either monetary or in-kind contributions.
